Sage Intacct Implementation Consultant

Carlson Management Consulting is seeking a talented and experienced Sage Intacct Consultant to join our newly launched Intacct consulting practice. This pivotal role will be responsible for providing assistance to our clients by successfully managing and implementing Intacct following a proven implementation methodology. This role is for someone who is looking to make a significant contribution to the team and is eager to learn and grow within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document system and business requirements.
  • Setup system and configure according to customer requirements.
  • Develop test scripts and for customers testing phase.
  • Train end users on the Intacct system.
  • Assist customers with data conversions.
  • Make recommendations for new processes and procedures.
  • Develop reports and dashboards utilizing the Intacct tools.
  • Setup and configure DataBlend/Intacct integration tools.
  • Work closely with team members to coordinate the completion of project tasks.
  • Conduct sessions with the customer over the phone or in-person, attending project meetings and providing status on progress of activities and deliverables.
  • Provide functional and technical support to clients as needed.
  • Provide input and contribute to the development of new processes and procedures for service delivery, including development of templates, documentation of best practices, contribution to the knowledgebase, etc.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance
  • 3+ years of experience in all facets of accounting including GL, AP, AR and reconciliations
  • Experience working with and/or implementing Sage Intacct applications
  • Understanding of the business practices as related to Accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Invoicing, Revenue Recognition, Multi-entities), Sales Force Management (Opportunity, Proposal, Sales Orders, Forecasting, territory management and Quotas), Inventory Management (Purchasing and Fulfillment), Marketing Campaigns, and Customer Support (Cases Management and Territory Management)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial, motivated, self-starter, who can work with little supervision in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously.
  • Available for periodic travel to client sites and conferences.

Compensation:
Dependent on experience but will include Base + Bonus + Benefits
