Get in on the ground floor of a rapidly growing consulting company searching for motivated finance professionals! As an Associate, you will be responsible for providing accounting and FP&A services. Leveraging and developing your well-rounded finance skills, you will create and manage a variety of models and will be responsible for providing monthly management packages for our clients. You will take a progressively active role in supporting several clients through their monthly and quarterly forecasts and their annual budget process.

This position reports to a Director and will work from Carlson’s office located in Stowe, VT.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support the management of customer’s annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecast process
• Preparation and review of client’s monthly and quarterly metrics and scorecards
• Develop and/or assist in the creation or improvement of various financial models using the Carlson CPM Implementation Methodology
• Work closely with the Carlson team to provide continuous improvement to our clients
• Become proficient in the use of Adaptive Insights, the #1 cloud corporate performance management solution
• Participate in consulting engagements focused on providing our clients with process improvements, better financial metrics and KPI’s
• Develop knowledge of general ledger/ERP systems
• Other duties as assigned based on client engagements

Specific requirements:

• Bachelors’ degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
• 2+ years experience in finance or accounting
• Technology savvy
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting software
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interface with people at all levels
• Be proactive, a self-starter, results-oriented and a team player
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and the ability to multi-task
• Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information and to maintain strict confidentiality

Compensation:

Dependent on experience but will include Base + Bonus + Benefits
