Daniel joined Carlson in 2015 with almost 10 years of experience in senior FP&A and audit roles. He worked in public accounting prior to switching to FP&A and is proficient in bridging the gap between managerial and GAAP reporting requirements. Utilizing the experience he gained as an Adaptive Insights Power User at WGBH, he employs “best practices” in budgeting, forecasting, and planning in developing client models. Daniel has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida State University and a Masters degree in Accounting from Bentley University. He is Adaptive certified.
Expertise: Daniel has worked on all aspects of corporate accounting environment including the monthly close, managerial reporting, and the annual audit. He has implemented Adaptive Insights and trained 20+ users, reducing the monthly financial preparation by more than 2 days. He has systems experience with Lawson, Lawson Grants, Workday, SalesForce, and ADP Payroll.
