Austin is a certified Adaptive Insights consultant with over 20 years of financial planning and systems experience. Austin’s early career involved stints as a Persian-Farsi linguist for the US Navy and as a pastry chef before finding his passion for finance and information systems. From there, he gained experience in the natural foods industry, government and nonprofits, early childhood education, and broadcasting industries. All of these experiences inform Austin’s ability to bring a broad perspective and systems focus to each client. Austin has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico, an MBA in Management Information Systems from the College of Santa Fe and is certified by Adaptive Insights in Planning and Reporting, Sales and Marketing, and Adaptive Discovery (BI).
Expertise: Austin has broad experience with many types of businesses, but has particular depth in nonprofit and government organizations. He is experienced in a wide variety of other systems including NetSuite, Intacct, and Salesforce and has led the integration of Adaptive Insights with those and other proprietary systems. Austin has been implementing Adaptive Insights full time since 2013.
